Comfort Hotel Hiroshima was absolutely great The location was absolutely awesome for what we wanted to do, it has the Peace Memorial within walking distance and a bus and electric train stop just outside to get to further locations. There is a 7-Eleven pretty much next door, lots of food options nearby and shops were well within walking distance In terms of the hotel itself, the room is quite small but that was fine as we were only there to sleep and freshen up. The room was very clean and they made the beds each morning which was nice to come back to each day Bathroom was nice and I could actually somewhat fit in the bath as a tall person. The shower curtain was a bit blocked by the sink so it was a bit awkward to try not to get water everywhere when showering. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were able to safely leave our luggage early before checking in later. The only issue we had was other guests staying at the hotel running up and down the halls during the night and the room didn't really keep out the noise - not really a hotel issue itself more of a tourist that couldn't handle their liquor situation -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pros: GREAT location, super helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms Cons: Loud neighbours, bathroom shower curtain was awkward, scary elevator doors

Fantastic stay in Hiroshima. The Queen room is a nice size, quite compact but enough room to open a suitcase and move around just fine. Bed was big and comfy with a large TV, and the bench seat was a nice addition. The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side as I'm fairly tall, but that didn't stop me from enjoying a nice hot bath. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the lounge near the lobby was quite spacious and relaxing. I had the breakfast buffet both mornings, which consisted of cereals and an array of cooked dishes, which were unfamiliar but tasty nonetheless. The location was great too. There's a tram stop right outside so you can get there straight from the train station, it's within walking distance of restaurants and shopping streets, and there's a conbini right beneath it - just perfect. Overall had a really great experience here and would 100% recommend!

Location was easy, some close by restaurants and tram lines out front. Close by to tourist attractions, Convenience stores nearby too. Free Breakfast/all day library room a nice little place to enjoy a basic meal, even if you brought something from outside. Meal tickets are distributed every day for timing. Microwave and utensils were available, along with a drink station through the day. Check in is a bit modern, with a machine to process check in card and details however lots of staff are behind the desk to help - but feels like you lose out on staff interaction this way, our attendant was helpful as the machine couldn’t read passports very well so ended up doing most of our prompts on our behalf in the end.

The location: It's a very convenient location. It's just one block away from the stop for the street car and bus. It's also just a short walk away from the Atomic Bomb Dome, and Peace Memorial Park, which also means it's also very near the shopping street. The room: It's very clean! The staff makes up the bed everyday, and cleans the bathroom. The room is also more spacious than most hotel rooms in Japan. I was able to leave my luggage open without tripping over it. The staff: They were very helpful! They guide you through check in, and check out. The breakfast: It's a decent breakfast, and allows me to be full until lunch time. The eggs were my favorite, it was very creamy.

Very good location very close to the memorial park, restaurants close by. Access to the kitchen was great considering we had a baby with us. Just one thing that I believe could be advertised on their website = just know that the standard room is VERY small ! Of course its Japan almost every hotel room we have seen were tiny... but when its your first time in Japan (like us) maybe you have to see it to believe it! We were 2 adults and a 6 months old = very BAD idea to take the standard room there was just no space at all (and we had 2 luggages). I would come back to this hotel but would take the upper category room for sure. Great place for the price thx again!
